South London Gays have an interesting speaker on "The Pink Triangle": Rainer Schulze, Professor of History at the University of Essex, talks about the Nazi persecution of gay men and why this still matters today. Open to CAGS members too.
Highgate Village to Parliament Hill Fields. From Archway station (meet exit barrier 2pm). We will take bus 143, 271 or 210 to Highgate village and walk from there via Fitzroy Park downhill to Hampstead Heath. We will pass the boating and men's bathing ponds (energetic can bring your swim trunks) to the café at Parliament Hill Fields for refreshments. Others can climb to the top of Parliament Hill Fields for London view. We will end the walk at Southampton Arms for an excellent selection of ales and bar food. Short walk from the pub to Kentish Town station (Northern Line) or a bus.
Join James of SLG for a naturist swim. Admission £5. On arrival walk down the stairs opposite the entrance and ask for a locker key at the desk, for which you have to leave some identification. The pool is in the basement and having disposed of all your clothes you go the pool with your £5. The event is strictly naturist. Nearest station: Goodge Street.
