DULWICH GALLERY / PAVILION

The Summer Pavilion is a colourful focus in the grounds of the Dulwich Picture Gallery. Join SLG for snacks in the Café from 12.30pm. Various exhibitions are on view inside the gallery; entry costs around £15, depending on concessions etc. but the pavilion, grounds and café are accessible free of charge.

Exhibition Pride Season at the Clocktower: Sat. July 6th - Sat. July 27th.

Mark Goldby, Artist has been commissioned to develop an exhibition in the atrium of the Clocktower Building. The exhibition opens Saturday July 6th and runs until Saturday July 27th.The exhibition includes aspects of the history of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence & the Sisterhood as seen in contemporary manifestation by the Bristol House of the Order. I think they'll also be yours truly( group member Ray) portrayed in days gone by as Mother Molly campaigning for equal rights & against homophobia.

Cinema / LGBT

Terry Sanderson is presenting a new show “We’re on the Telly! –Television’s role in liberating LGBT lives” at the Cinema Museum, 2 Dugard Way (off Renfrew Road),SE11 4TH. Tickets £10. Refreshments available in the licensed cafe/bar. Advance tickets may be purchased from Billetto, or direct from the Museum by calling 020 7840 2200 in office hours.

SOHO Village Fete

From 12.30 to 6.30pm the 45th Soho Village Fete takes place in St Anne’s Gardens, Wardour Street and features the much mentioned and seldom seen spectacle of the Tug of War between Soho Police and Soho Firemen and the world famous Soho Waiters’ Race. If you wish to join Chris and Michael from Outings in Art, you can meet them at the entrance to St Anne’s Gardens at 2.00 to 2.15pm. At 3.15pm they will be at The French House, 49 Dean Street, W1D 5BG for the commencement of the Waiters' Race.

EXHIBITION Queer Spaces (Whitechapel)

EXHIBITION: Queer Spaces: London 1980's A nostalgic glance into the spaces where London's queer communities flirted and campaigned, with a mix of flyers, photos and manifestos relating to ten wildly different venues. 11am at Whitechapel Gallery 77-82 Whitechapel High Street, E1 7QX (Aldgate East tube). Free admission. Meet at main entrance.Followed by optional lunch about 12.30pm at Goodman's Field (Wetherspoons) 87 Mansell Street, E1 8AN.
