LGBT Croydon

Resources and support groups for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Trans people in the London Borough of Croydon

London Pride

Croydon people have been taking part in London Pride every July for many years, sometimes as individuals, sometimes in groups. CAGS took part in the parade, with banner, in 1996 and 1997. In 2006 and 2007 Roger carried a one-person banner. In 2009 there was a Croydon stall at Pride. In 2012 Ross carried the Silver Rainbow banner. In 2013 Roger carried the banner. In 2014 Ross and others carried the banner.

Brighton Pride

Croydon people have been attending Brighton Pride every August for a number of years.

There were Croydon stalls (representing the various Croydon groups) in 2006 and 2007, and some of us marched in costume in 2009.

London Pride Parade

Highlight of World Pride 2012. Now a walking parade with no floats. Some of us plan to march with the Older LGBT groups at the front of the parade (wearing red) under the Silver Rainbow banner: if you'd like to join us, please meet at 10:15 outside the Post Office, 11 Baker Street, London, W1U 6RR.
