The Brief Encounter

Robert will be bringing his book Through the eyes of Others, a collection of poems, photography, short stories, artwork and history from within and without the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender community and their friends.

Rainbows across Borders 'Finding Home' production

Black History Month Closing Night. 'Rage and Desire' presents the film “Finding Home”. 7pm - 9pm (doors open 6.30pm for food & wine). Has involved members of Rainbows Across Borders and their Chorus will be performing on the night. Shows the lives of BME migrant, refugee and asylum seekers, which gives voice to lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people who have made Southwark their home, offering future role models. CAGS film showing

The story of gay rights icon, Bette Bourne, and a group of friends, performers and activists, who took on the establishment with high heels and lipstick, playing a vital role in exposing gay life in the 1970s and 80s. 6:30pm for a sharp start at 7. Free of charge and open to all. A CAGS event for LGBT History Month, supported by Croydon Council.
