Selected CAGS members recalled memorable events in CAGS’s past forty years, between comment and questions from the floor.
Trans Dayof Remebrance was commemorated by a display in Croydon Library, and a ceremonly of lighting candles and reading out the names of trans people who had died by violence over the last 12 months.
On World AIDS Day 2011, CAGS provided a display in the foyer of Croydon University Hospital
Another visit to the ever-popular cellar disco (a men-only event).

Croydon hosted a full series of events throughout February for LGBT History Month 2011. The national theme this year was "sport".
Other events during the month (no pictures yet) included a question and answer session with the Borough Police Commander, a quiz night, a film festival in the David Lean Cinema, a Trans Group meeting, and events for different age groups, while several of us visited History Month events in the London Borough of Merton.
